It never seems to get any better. There are layoffs everywhere, every time you turn around, and getting a new gig is tougher and tougher to land. So I've put this thing together, and maybe it'll help your job search a bit. I can't critique your work or advise you on open positions or how to approach them, but I can offer you space here for your resumé and airchecks.
Here's how to make that happen:
First, you'll need a resumé, in MSWord format (a .doc file). Make it look as good as you can. I'll convert that to a PDF file for use online.
Then you'll need an audio or video demo, as many different tracks as you need (just try to keep it reasonable!). Keep them brief and bright, showing your best work up front. Remember that the demo presented here is only a teaser, meant to ignite interest in your potential employer. Make the quality the best you can, because the only editing I'll do is to convert the demo to a streaming format.
Burn all of those files to a CD or DVD and contact me for a mailing address.
I'll load 'em up here for streaming as soon as possible after receipt and send you the individual links to use in your email presentations.
Yes, of course, it's a free service and you can change your demos as often as you need to.
