So, today, the ratings came out. Lots of entities and peoples have gone to great lengths over the past
couple of months to BLAST
KTRS, its brass, the personalities, and even the Cardinals for the decision to move the team over
to KTRS. There were speculations that ran rampant about the future, ratings, revenue, pub, etc.
Well, as of today, KTRS is well on its way to stamping out all the contrived negativity! KTRS
went from 18th to 5th in April 12+. I know the break down, but am never really sure on what I can
say and what I can't, but I do know the station in April is sitting at 5th place OVERALL!

So, to anyone who thought they were being smart and kicking around the idea that we'd fail, in your
FACE! IN YOUR FACE. You were wrong. Granted, this is a trend, so don't think I'm getting
crazy, BUT, what matters is what comes off that printer, and I SAW it. Lets also keep in mind,

I've gotten some email asking me if I am afraid I'll be fired, mainly due to the past firing of the new
personalities they brought in. No I'm not. I would already be fired. If it happens, it happens, but
I don't do what I do everyday to be fired eventually. Frankly, all the negative press has driven and
fueled me. If I am here in 3 or 4 years, I have a few entities to thank for the motivation. Those
people, however, will be still saying the same damn things they're saying presently.

Here's the thing. Ratings in radio take forever! The average person doesn't think about radio
like we/I want them to. Here's an analogy. When you walk in your house at night, turn on the
lights, do you think about the power company? No. So, getting someone to think about you
in a way to get ratings, takes TIME and darn good presentation. Shock jock... Get a new tag, please.

good radio personality can do AOR, Talk, Country, Oldies, etc. What I've done on an AOR was
